Most women are afraid of getting a pixie haircut and I don't blame them, I was once like that but I got rid of my fear last week and I got to say I'm loving my new look.
I guess I just wanted to try something different and since my stylist said I couldn't do anything with my natural hair, I decided to try a pixie hairstyle. I have to admit I wasn't really feeling my look immediately it was done but I felt much better getting a closer look when I got home.
Then I fell completely in love with my new hairdo the next day, when people kept on admiring my hair and I felt much better knowing I didn't have to spend endless hours combing my tangled weave and it kind of gave me a new personality if you get what I mean.
So basically all I'm trying to say is don't be afraid to try something new especially the pixie look. I understand most women worry about it exposing their face shape and making them look like they have a fat face but with the help of a good stylist, you would be able to pick the right pixie hairstyle that suits you, all you have to do is:
• Get a good stylist ( and I don't mean a carpenter, get someone who is very experienced with the scissors and comb)
• Browse through the web and catalogues for hair inspiration (but you need to know that not every hairstyle you see can look exactly the same on you, some are natural hair or wigs)
• Pick the style that suits your face shape and if you are clueless about that, ask for opinion from people around or preferably your stylist.
Be bold and enjoy rocking your new pixie updo.
